This Privacy Policy explains how Vibra Team ("Vibra," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Vibra mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Vibra is intended for users aged 17 and older.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, email address.
  • Customer support content: messages you send to us, including any information you choose to provide.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, language, app version, identifiers (such as advertising ID or other device identifiers where permitted), and network information.
  • Usage analytics: in-app actions, feature usage, interaction events, and general performance metrics.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, and related technical data.
  • Location information (with your permission): precise or approximate location data depending on your device settings and permissions.

2.3 Cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies

If the Service includes web-based components, we (or our authorized service providers) may use cookies or similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and improve performance and reliability. You can control cookies through your device or browser settings where applicable.

2.4 Photos and media; no facial recognition / biometrics

  • We do not perform facial recognition and we do not collect or infer biometric identifiers.
  • Uploaded photos are used only to generate the requested analysis and are deleted promptly after processing.
  • By default, outputs you generate (such as analyses) are stored locally on your device unless the Service clearly offers and you choose a cloud sync option.
  • We do not use uploaded photos to train models, and we do not use them for marketing.

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Service (including account creation, authentication, and core functionality).
  • Personalize your experience (such as recommendations for caves and equipment readiness insights).
  • Improve the Service (analytics, troubleshooting, product development, and performance optimization).
  • Safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse prevention, protecting users and the Service).
  • Customer support (responding to inquiries and resolving issues).
  • Legal compliance (meeting legal obligations and enforcing our terms).

4) AI-Assisted Features (Text / Image Processing)

Vibra may offer AI-assisted features such as personalized cave recommendations and photo-based equipment analysis. If you use these features:

  • What is processed: the text and/or images you choose to upload for analysis or generation.
  • Where it is processed: on Vibra Team’s own servers (not on third-party processors for the AI analysis itself).
  • Sharing: we do not share your uploaded text/images or resulting AI outputs with any third party.
  • Retention: uploaded text/images are deleted promptly after processing.
  • Your control: you decide whether to upload content and whether to generate AI outputs.

Important: Do not upload content you do not have the right to share. You are responsible for the content you submit.

5) How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information only as follows and only to the minimum extent necessary:

  • With your consent: when you request or authorize disclosure.
  • Service providers (processors): trusted vendors who help us operate the Service under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal and compliance: to comply with law or lawful requests.
  • Protection of rights and safety: to protect Vibra, our users, or others, including preventing misuse.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

6) International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms where required.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, access controls, regular audits and monitoring, and backups and recovery procedures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Data Retention

  • Account data: for as long as your account is active.
  • Deletion after account closure: within 30 days we delete or anonymize personal information, unless required by law.
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
  • Support communications: up to 6 months.
  • AI uploads (text/images): deleted promptly after processing.

9) Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (for example, location permissions).

10) Children / Age Limitation

The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Service after the update becomes effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
